Shedeur Sanders and the Cardinals? Diamondbacks scuffling, Urlacher with me on Draft night…

The Hometown Nine isn’t performing.

Sure it’s early, but let’s not sugar coat it, the Diamondbacks have been a early season disappointment. With a loaded starting rotation(current ERA 6.27), I was certain that we’d see this team get off to a much, much better month of April. Zac Gallen hasn’t been effective in two of his three starts. Katel Marte is on the injured list and Jake McCarthy has yet to collect a base hit. Torey Lovullo’s team hasn’t been clean in the field either. Don’t be surprised when a former Arizona Cardinal announces his run for office later this month…

The stumbling Suns, who are going to miss the playoffs, should take the broom to the organization next week. IF James Jones is let go as general manager, that shouldn’t be the end of it. Suns fans need to see more than just a front office shake up. Mat Ishbia should take a note from Ken Kendricks’ playbook on how to take blame for a lousy player move. Bradley Beal is the 2025 version of Jordan Montgomery. The owner standing up and taking blame is something that is rare these days…

On his Monday podcast, ESPN Insider Adam Schefter, included your Arizona Cardinals as a wild card scenario with the 16th pick taking Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders.”I don’t think Arizona’s likely, but there have been questions about Kyler Murray. There have been questions about the owner not being a huge fan.” I am sure that the fan base wouldn’t revolt…

Hall of Famer Brian Urlacher will join me on Draft night at Harrahs Ak-Chin in Maricopa from 6-8p.Chicago has the 10th pick. Should be fun to have Brian’s insights and opinions on stage…
