The Suns are now trailing 2-1 in their first round series against the Los Angeles Lakers following Thursday night’s defeat. Phoenix will need a much stronger showing if they want a chance to come back in the series.
Game four on Sunday will be crucial. With the pressure turned on Phoenix, the Suns will need a response. There were many thoughts on officiating, the Lakers inside presence, Deandre Ayton being the lone bright spot, and Devin Booker’s ejection in the second half. Here was some of the reaction on social media following LA’s game three victory:
Kendrick Perkins
The Best Duo in the game flat out DOMINATED the Suns tonight in the paint! The Lakers scored 58 points in the Damn paint and the crazy thing is that they shot 7-28 from 3 and still won in great fashion. Btw I’m talking about AD and Bron. Carry the hell on…

The Suns had better regular-season health than any team you'd call a contender. So naturally Chris Paul sustains a Game 1 shoulder injury and proves unable to play through it in 2 or 3. Can two days off before Game 4 make any difference with the Lakers rolling now? #thisseason
