Former Ohio State safety and Salpointe Catholic alum Lathan Ransom was drafted by the Carolina Panthers in the fourth round with the 122nd overall pick.
A 2024 National Champion, Ransom is one of few Buckeyes to earn five Varsity O letters, from 2020-2024.
He ranked fourth on the championship team with 76 tackles to go along with nine tackles-for-loss and three forced fumbles.
He also put up a fumble recovery, one interception and two pass breakups.
Ransom’s senior year performance earned him first-team All-Big Ten honors.
