Could Phoenix Rising FC host one more match in this 2018 season? It’s possible. Two things need to happen for Rising FC to host the USL Championship game. A)Beat Orange County on Saturday night B)Redbulls 2 would need to knock out Louisville in the Eastern Conference Final. It’s this close for Rising FC to have all heck break loose here in Phoenix.
Of course if Rising FC does not get the W on Saturday night, the magical season will come to an end, but i’d say the mission of showing the MLS that Phoenix will support the sport has been accomplished regardless of the outcome…

Playing home matches on Friday nights is one of the smartest sports business moves in Valley sports…

As of Tuesday, over 400 fans had signed up to take the bus from Phoenix for Saturday nights Western Conference title game at Champions Soccer Stadium in Irvine, California.
