REPORTS – Suns move fast, hire Mike Budenholzer

According to reports, the Suns are hiring its next coach less than 24 hours after firing Frank Vogel.

The Athletic and Shams Charania are reporting that Mike Budenholzer is the new hire for Phoenix.

The Phoenix Suns plan to hire Bucks champion Mike Budenholzer as their head coach on deal expected to approach eight figures per year, league sources tell @TheAthletic @Stadium. The Holbrook, Arizona native is expected to make at least eight figures per the same sources.

Budenholzer coaced the Milwaukee Bucks to the NBA championship in 2021, beating Phoenix.

Many view him as a “balanced” coach when it comes to offensive and defensive schemes.

Now the coach is figured out. 

None of this matter if the roster isn’t adjusted in more ways than one…
