The good fortune for the Phoenix Suns may be tested in a big way.
ESPN.com reported Thursday afternoon that guard Eric Bledsoe needs surgery on his right knee and will be lost for an indefinite period of time. According to the report, he is suspected to have suffered meniscus damage to the knee during a game on December 30th against the Los Angeles Clippers.
The Suns have been one of the surprise teams in the NBA this season(21-13). Bledsoe has been a big part of that, averaging 18 points per game.
The Suns signed veteran guard Leandro Barbosa earlier this week to a 10-day contract. Gerald Green, who hit a game winning jumper last night in Minnesota, has done a nice job this season.
