Records Broken in Brennan’s First Win as Arizona Head Coach

Brent Brennan’s first win as Arizona’s head coach had plenty of fireworks, big plays and a broken record along the way. 

The Wildcats and New Mexico were trading punches until about halfway into the third quarter before Arizona was able to pull away for a 61-39 win. 

Tetairoa McMillan led the charge, accounting for 304 receiving yards – an Arizona single-game record – and four touchdowns. He was one yard short of adding his fifth of the night. 

Quali Conley added three scores in his first game as a Wildcat and fellow running back transfer Jacory Croskey-Merritt ran for 106 yards and a score as well. 

The Wildcats host NAU next week before heading to Kansas State in a non-conference battle on September 13.
