LA was only able to put together four first downs in the first half while the Cardinals were able to put together 11 first downs. Cooper Kupp went into the locker room experiencing an aggravated right ankle at halftime. Kupp first experienced a right ankle sprain last season in Week 10 against the Arizona Cardinals and had a season-ending surgery.
However, an aggravated right ankle didn’t keep Kupp from being the first to find the Endzone. With under ten minutes left in the third quarter, Matthew Stafford connected with Cooper Kupp to give the Rams a 13-9 lead.
The first half was a battle of the special teams. The second half was dominated by the Rams’ offense as LA scored on five straight possessions. The Rams ran away with it, scoring 23 unanswered points to close out the game. Arizona fell to the Los Angeles 26-9.
