Projected Lottery pick and NCAA Women’s Basketball D1 National Champion Lauren Betts on the WNBA Draft.
Her Bruins breezed through the Final Four in Phoenix; they beat Texas 51-44 then South Carolina 79-51 in the Natty.
Six Bruins are expected to be drafted, with four of them most likely going in the first round (would tie UConn’s record set in 2002).
The other two probably won’t fall to the Mercury’s 27th (2nd Rd) or 42nd (3rd Rd) overall picks.
Free agency has been the wild west this offseason so who knows what moves could be made ahead of or during the draft.
