Hey everyone! Welcome to On The Rocks. I’m your trail guide, Claudia Faust. Every week I’ll take you on a new adventure as I check hikes, waterfalls, and other outdoor activities off of my Arizona bucket list. Today, we’re heading to Sedona to hike up to Cathedral Rock.
As the weather heats up in Arizona I’m on a mission to find some “cooler” hikes…and I’m up for the task! I love finding hikes along the water, places to cliff jump, and waterfalls to soak under. Sedona has a lot to offer in that department if you know where to go. Yes, you can do the mile-long hike up to Cathedral Rock if you want a quick hike with epic views. But you can also hike Baldwin Trail to Cathedral Rock Trail and make it a longer and more scenic hike. Baldwin trail hugs the river running through Sedona, and with ice-cold water streaming it’s sure to cool you down. Set aside several hours to really enjoy this 3.7-mile hike, you won’t regret it!
