The Arizona State class of 2025 football class is continuing to fill out, and the Sun Devils added a weapon in Santa Fe (Oklahoma) running back Demarius Robinson.

“The coaching staff is super welcoming,” Robinson said. “(It was) like we all knew each other right off the bat when I came in. The academics at ASU and the network it provides is quite impressive.”

The 5-foot-10, 175-pound running back chose the Sun Devils over fellow finalists Kansas State, Houston, Tulsa and North Texas.

The running back who has nicknames like “Man Man” and “Flash” fit the bill on the field. He tallied 4,271 rushing yards and 47 touchdowns over three seasons, including 28 running scores last season as a junior.

The Sun Devils were the first of his official visits, and he was able to take in the Sun Devils’ spring game. Running backs coach Shaun Aguano helped lead the charge that made an impact when Robinson was in Tempe.

“They set the bar pretty high,” Robinson said.

“(Aguano) is a great coach and is bought in to all the guys in his room. He makes sure everyone is OK and treats them like they’re his own (children).”

Robinson also liked what he saw on the field in the spring game on the field and within the roster.

“They all looked like they enjoyed being out there together,” Robinson said. “There was a whole bunch of energy out there and it’s fun to watch them go.”

On the field, he describes himself as an all-purpose back that’s a “home run hitter” and can go in the slot to create mismatches. Robinson wants to look at the engineering and business schools as potential majors when he gets to Tempe.

Robinson is the 19th public commitment for the Sun Devils in the 2025 class and the first running back in the group.
