The matchup between Notre Dame Prep and Queen Creek had the makings of a great game.
The real thing surpassed the expectations.
In an overtime game where neither team lost, but one team had to win, Notre Dame came away with a 34-31 overtime victory.
Jordan Stengel gave the Saints the lead with an interception returned for a touchdown and the Saints were in control.
Until Devin Larsen aired out a 47-yard throw with ten seconds left to Ryan Dobbs to tie the game.
After Queen Creek kicked a field goal, Notre Dame quarterback Kylan Weisser hit Jake Smith for his third touchdown of the night to win the game.
The #4 Saints will play #1 Cienega at Marana High School in the semifinals.
