Benjamin Morrison has been a mainstay within the Notre Dame Fightin’ Irish secondary over the past two years. His nine interceptions and 14 pass breakups over two years have been a big reason why he’s one of the top collegiate defensive backs in the country and an intriguing draft prospect.
Despite his success, Morrison hasn’t forgotten where he came from, and that was on full display on Saturday when he held a youth camp at Brophy College Prep.
Morrison said there were just under 100 participants in the iteration of this camp, and he wants this to be the start of yearly camps in at his high school stomping grounds.
He caught up with Sports360AZ about the impact he hopes to make, life at Notre Dame and how Brophy and head coach Jason Jewell prepared him for high-level college football.
