Ray Anderson’s next job title should be Commissioner of the Pac-12. I’d hate to see Ray leave Tempe, but coming into year number six at Arizona State, it’s clear to me that his leadership and vision could be used for the greater good of the Conference. Anderson has taken the lead in the Pac-12 officiating scandal and has an extensive NFL background, where he was Executive Vice President for almost ten years. Having new leadership at the top iof the Pac-12 s something that needs to happen. Larry Scott has been on the job for ten years. Time to hand the reigns over to someone with a fresh set out of eyes who isn’t being used as a punching bag by the media on a regular basis…

Gotta give University of Hawaii credit, they aren’t afraid to schedule. The Rainbow Warriors start the season with three Pac-12 opponents, starting at home with the University of Arizona this Saturday(7:30pm MT). Oregon State at home and on the road at Washington round out the start to their season. Hawaii couldn’t run the ball last season(ranked 122 nationally), but their quarterback, Cole McDonald, is one of the better players in the Mountain West Conference, and Hawaii returns eight starters on defense. The wise guys in Vegas have Arizona favored by 11…

Defensive lineman Brett Johnson, who was a  one man wrecking ball at Desert Vista high school in 2018 , is having a tremendous camp for the Cal Golden Bears. Braxten Croteau, from Liberty high school,  is also making a push for playing time as a true freshman at Berkley…

At Oregon State, a couple of former Chandler Wolves, Kolby Taylor and Halmicar Rashed Jr. are being mentioned as players who should get signficant playing time for the Beavers…
