New Name in Arizona Football Coaching Search

Navy coach Ken Niumatalolo is a name that has surfaced in the coaching community as the possible new head football coach at Arizona.
Niumatalolo has been the head coach of the Midshipmen since 2007. He is the all-time winningest coach in school history.
Niumatalolo is the dean of American Athletic Conference coaches. His ten years at Navy are more than the rest of the league’s coaches (11 coaches total) have been at their current schools combined.
Navy finished the 2017 with a 7-6 record and a 49-7 Military Bowl game victory over Virginia.
Today is the first day recruiting for schools leading into the February 7th Letter of Intent signing day. Arizona has interviewed former Texas A&M head coach Kevin Sumlin and Cal offensive coordinator Beau Baldwin among others for the vacant position.

Media personality Brad Cesmat first rose to fame in Southern California with the launching of "The Mighty 690" all-sports radio station in the late 1980's and early 90's.
