Mountain Pointe Looking for New Head Football Coach

Rich Wellbrock will not return to Mountain Pointe as head football coach of the Pride. After a 1-9 season, Wellbrock turned in his resignation on Monday. 

The opening is sure to bring quality candidates knocking on the school’s door. Mountain Pointe is viewed as a football desination school. Former Pride head coach Norris Vaughn won 99-games in his tenure before Wellbrock took over in 2018. 

Wellbrock’s record in two seaosns with the Pride was  8-13.
