Miscues, Big Plays Leave Devils On Wrong Side Of Cactus Bowl

Chase Field is a perfect venue for a bowl game on January 2nd. It’s not a New Years Day bowl stadium, but it fits nicely within our sporting community to put on a football game. When the remodel of Sun Devil Stadium is complete, it will hold 60-thousand fans. Too big for a game like the Cactus Bowl. Arizona State shouldn’t be playing in a second-tier bowl too often, so a seating total of about 45-thousand seems just about right. Sneer all you want, having a bowl game other than the Fiesta Bowl here in the Valley isn’t a bad thing…
