There has been some conversation behind the scenes in college football of schools holding spring games against each other, rather than the traditional scrimmage. After sitting through two hours of next to no action at Saturdays ASU spring matchup, I would be in full favor of let’s say, Arizona State against New Mexico, to finish spring practice. One problem I’ve heard on this topic is coaches not wanting to end up on the losing end of a spring game.
