The Diamondbacks were talking up the acquisition of pitcher Brandon McCarthy all offseason, but after Tuesday nights loss at New York, the numbers for McCarthy are just flat ugly…28 hits and 13 earned runs and a team high Earned run average of over 7 in 15 innings isn’t going to fly…

It’s come down to this for the fans of the Phoenix Suns, If the Lakers lose Wednesday and Utah wins their game at Memphis, the Suns will have two lottery picks in the June Draft. Pretty good drama to end the season…

There has been some conversation behind the scenes in college football of schools holding spring games against each other, rather than the traditional scrimmage. After sitting through two hours of next to no action at Saturdays ASU spring matchup, I would be in full favor of let’s say, Arizona State against New Mexico, to finish spring practice. One problem I’ve heard on this topic is coaches not wanting to end up on the losing end of a spring game.
