The offseason drama between Kyler Murray and the Arizona Cardinals is over.
The team announced today that both sides agreed to a contract extension.

According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, the deal is worth $230 million over five years. $160 million is guranteed. The deal keeps Murray signed with the team through 2028.

Aaron Rodgers is the only quarterback getting paid more annually than Murray after this extension, who is set to make $46.1 million per year.
The 2018 first overall pick has lived up to his draft day expectations. The Cardinals are showing they expect him to take the next step forward and lead this team to postseason success.
