Kyle Larson Becomes First Driver Locked Into the Championship 4

The rules are simple, win and you’re in. Eight drivers remain eligible for the title in the NASCAR playoffs and entered the Round of 8 beginning at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

This Sunday in Las Vegas was the first opportunity for a driver to lock into the Championship 4 at Phoenix Raceway by claiming the Checkered flag.

After some adversity, the 2021 Cup Series Champion, Kyle Larson, took full advantage and is guaranteed to be in the Championship 4 at Phoenix Raceway on Nov. 5. Devon Henry was at Las Vegas Motor Speedway this weekend to capture all the action as we prepare to crown a champion.

Just 2 races remain to decided what other three drivers will race for a championship in Phoenix. NASCAR is back in action this weekend at Homestead-Miami Speedway, then will travel to Martinsville Speedway to finalize the Championship 4 before Championship Weekend at Phoenix Raceway Nov. 3-5.
