Kyle Allen commits to Texas A&M

Kyle Allen has announced he is going to play for Texas A&M.

Just one week after announcing his top five schools of Texas A&M along with Ohio State, Oklahoma State, Notre Dame and UCLA, Allen decided to end his recruitment early.

“It’s a great school, it’s a great town,” Allen said.

Texas A&M is coming off their first season in the Southeastern Conference which saw a win at Alabama as well as a Heisman trophy winner in Johnny Manziel. It was also the first year under head coach Kevin Sumlin who Allen is very excited to play for.

“Coach Sumlin, I sat down and talked with him for over an hor and he is a really good dude,” Allen added. “He seemed like he knew a lot about the game and a lot about recruiting.”

Kyle Allen now plans to be the future starting quarterback of an Aggie program that is putting over $400 Million into their stadium and facilities. Allen is looking forward to play in one of college football’s best environments.

“Kyle Field is a really historic place,” Allen explained. “It you look up to the top of the end zone, it looks like a skyscraper.”

Allen mentioned last week that he planned to visit Norte Dame but instead decided to end his recruitment and focus on his senior season at Desert Mountain before heading to Texas A&M after college.
