Arizona State has the tall task of heading to Lubbock this weekend to take on the No. 10 Texas Tech Red Raiders.
Some sites have Tech as a favorite by over two touchdowns as a the Red Raiders will be fresh coming off a bye and Arizona State beat Hawaii last week.
Diillingham was not aware of the line or the outside expectations, but made his message clear during his Monday media availability: “I expect to win every game.”
Help Up Front
The Sun Devils do have two offensive lineman coming back that will help up front moving forward. Wade Helton is expected to be back from injury, as well as center Tana Al0-Tupuola, who missed last week for personal reasons.
Passion and Physicality “Flickering”
Kenny Dillingham talked multiple times about passion, “juice” and physicality. He says those aspects have not been up to the program’s standards through the team’s first five games.
BUT
He believes the team can flip a switch and see that on the field consistently.
At different points of the press conference, Dillingham did rattle off the names of some players who are bringing that passion day-to-day. There were many that were team leaders and some young guys who played great on Saturday, including Cardae Mack and Julian Hugo.
Dillingham also mentioned freshman defensive lineman Suka Lokotui, who has played on both sides of the ball early in the 2026 season.
Arizona State kicks off against Texas Tech at 12:30 local on Saturday.
