Over the last two years, Jordyn Tyson was one of the most dynamic playmakers in all of college football.
Now, he gets to bring that skill set to New Orleans as the Saints selected him with the No. 8 overall pick in the NFL Draft.
Tyson logged 136 catches, 1,812 yards and 19 total touchdowns with the Sun Devils.
In 2026, he had a touchdown in every game he was a full participant. He was well on pace to break multiple program receiving records before a hamstring injury sidelined him for about a month. Even in his return, he was limited in the Sun Devils’ final two games of the regular season.
Jordan Spurgeon caught up with Tyson ahead of this season to explore the mental strength needed to navigate an injury at this level.
Tyson now gets to catch balls from Arizona natives Tyler Shough and Spencer Rattler in New Orleans.
