The revs and action of Endurocross returned to action for their 2025 season as the high-octane series visited Prescott Valley on Saturday night.
Defending champion Trystan Hart claimed the victory in the first moto and was in line to claim another moto victory in race two. That all changed when the Englishman, Jonny Walker, hunted the reigning champion down and drag raced down the final stretch to win moto two by a wheel.
Moto three was all Jonny Walker as the 2023 Prescott Valley winner cruised to victory after Canadian-born Hart had a pair of violent falls. Walker earned the overall win with finishes of 3rd, 1st, and 1st. Hart would still claim the second spot on the podium with finishes of 1st, 2nd, and 5th. Ryder LaBlond finished third after crossing the line in 2nd, 5th, and 2nd.
The Arizonans showed up in force as New River native Max Gerston claimed a 5th-place overall finish in his home state. Surprise’s Cooper Abbott, who finished third overall in the season point standings last year, claimed 7th overall, while Page’s James Flynn rounded out the top ten overall in Prescott Valley.
Up next for Endurocross, the series visits Idaho Falls for two back-to-back rounds on October 24 and 25 for Rounds two and three of their six-race season.
Sport of Speed’s month of motorsports in Arizona continues October 25 as the USAC National Spring Car Series visits Central Arizona Raceway in Casa Grande for their season finale to write the next chapter of the Western World Championship. NASCAR Championship Weekend crowns four champions at Phoenix Raceway from October 31 through November 2. Get your tickets now at phoenixraceway.com.
