Jon Rahm accomplished plenty while with ASU men’s golf.

The 2016 Jack Nicklaus Player of the Year left ASU as the world’s No. 1 amateur golfer. Fitting that he got a fist bump from The Golden Bear after claiming the world’s top professional ranking on Sunday.

The Sun Devil earned the honor after posting a dominant nine-under at the Memorial in Dublin, OH.

The 25 year-old has now notched four wins on the PGA Tour in his short career.

Rahm was a part of ASU men’s golf from 2012-16 and dominated throughout his career. He led the NCAA in eagles from 2012-15 with 32. He was a two-time PING All-American and Ben Hogan Award winner and posted a 69.38 scoring average, which was second-best in college golf.
