Absolutely went off in the Coyotes’ Thursday night win over Pinnacle. Rushed for over 340 yards!

The Coyotes played up a division against a very good Pinnacle team and came away with a win.

The Bobcats took down a previously unbeaten South Mountain squad.

Quarterbacks

* Sabino’s Alex Bell threw five TDs against Tanque Verde.

* Hamilton’s Tyler Shough threw three TDs against Chavez.

* Greenway QB Tyler Duncan is on fire, he threw five TDs against Washington.

* Chaparral sophomore Jack Miller threw four TDs against Williams Field.

* American Leadership’s Matt Nevill threw for 276 yards and two TDs against NW Christian.

Running Backs

* Drake Anderson from Chandler rushed for 176 yards and three TDs versus Mt. Ridge.

* Christian Velasquez from San Manuel rushed for a school record 348 yards against Globe.

* Tyrese Green from McClintock rushed for 301 yards and four TDs against Independence.

* Abukar Abdi from Camelback rushed for 315 yards and four TDs against Alhambra.

* Malik Taylor from Phoenix Christian rushed for six TDs against Gilbert Christian.

* On just four touches, Higley’s Draycen Hall went for 222 yards and three TDs.

Receivers

* Greenway’s Caden Hughes had 100 yards and two TDs against Washington.

* Cactus senior Damaria Norris scored five TDs against Cactus Shadows.

* Adan Sanders from Trivium Prep ran for 278 yards against San Pasqual.
