Houston Hands ASU Second Conference Loss

Seven days removed from ASU’s masterful win over No. 7 Texas Tech, the Sun Devils were on the wrong end of a 24-16 bout against Houston.

Arizona State was without Jordyn Tyson and Sam Leavitt was in and out of the game with injuries, but the Devils failed to slow down Houston quarterback Connor Weigman.

The Cougars lead 24-0 with a minute left in the third before the Sun Devils were able to mount a comeback, but it was too little, too late. 

Now, Arizona State will head to Iowa State in a week’s time to get back on track.
