48,388 fans spent Halloween inside Chase Field witnessing a horror show on the diamond.

The bullpen day was all tricks, no treats for the Arizona Diamondbacks, with the Texas Rangers plating five runs each in the top of the second and third innings.

Final score 11-7 after the snakes found some offense in the late innings.

The spookiest moment of them all? Corey Seager playing the monster mash with a two-run homer.

Before the game, Torey Lovullo spoke on how bullpen days became the norm for his team this postseason. It wasn’t the design of this team, but it’s how things shaked out. There was some luck with bullpen days that sided with the snakes in previous rounds. But asking seven pitchers to all be good on the same day is a tall order. One that wasn’t delivered in Game 4.

As October turns to November tomorrow, the Diamondbacks are facing elimination. Zac Gallen will take the mound against Nathan Eovaldi.
