CJ Fite has been the type of representative every successful football program needs. Not only is Fite a key member of the Sun Devil defense, but he’s been a leader in the classroom and community as well.
He lives by a high standard, and much of that comes from his family.
And he constantly wears two reminders on his wrists to achieve each day. He wears two bracelets with sayings from his grandparents: “What would Nay say?”, an ode to his grandmother and the wisdom she shared with the family. And then there’s a saying his grandfather loved to use: “Get all you can while you can.”
It’s a constant reminder that no day is guaranteed and not to waste any potential opportunity.
Through three years with ASU football, CJ certainly has made the most of his time in Tempe.
And if he ever needs an extra push, he can reference his grandparents’ wisdom on his wrist.
