Every week during the season NFL Network and NFL.com Senior Fantasy Analyst Michael Fabiano joins Sports360AZ.com’s Brad Cesmat to share his insight on building and developing your fantasy team for success.

Here are some hi-lights from our most recent conversation (December 6th) with the Fantasy Sports Writer’s Association Hall of Famer.

What are some fantasy storylines you’re keeping your eye on heading into Week 14? “Number one, I’m really interested to see what Eli Manning does back under center for the Giants because it would be totally storybook for Eli to come in, throw for four touchdowns and beat the Cowboys. Basically, knock them out of playoff contention. I’m really interested to see what Eli will do. I’m also interested to see if Alfred Morris can put up another good stat line because last week he was effective. I’m also interested to see what the Jets can do in Denver. That offense has been hot and Denver’s defense has really struggled over the last few weeks.”

What do you make of the huge Vikings-Panthers matchup? “Well, both defenses are very good. I have Cam Newton as a player you may want to sit this week because of that matchup. I’m also curious to see what Devin Funchess can do against Xavier Rhodes because he’s one of the best cover corners in the league who held Julio Jones to next-to-nothing last week.”

General fantasy overview of Eagles-Rams? Another big NFC showdown Sunday. “Carson Wentz has been one of the three best quarterbacks in fantasy football this season. The Rams have not allowed a quarterback to finish better than 19th in fantasy points against them in Los Angeles all year. They’ve played against Drew Brees and Kirk Cousins and Russell Wilson. Can Carson Wentz put up a Top 10 performance in LA? Maybe not.”

Better play this week: Ben Roethlisberger or Alex Smith? “Alex Smith. Although I do like Roethlisberger this week. The Ravens’ defense is tough but they just lost Jimmy Smith for the season and that makes them a bit more vulnerable but he would be the second choice there.”
