Every week during the season NFL Network and NFL.com Senior Fantasy Analyst Michael Fabiano joins Sports360AZ.com’s Brad Cesmat to share his insight on building and developing your fantasy team for success.

Here are some hi-lights from our most recent conversation (July 25th) with the Fantasy Sports Writer’s Association Hall of Famer.

Where do you project Corey Davis with the Titans coming off draft boards? “Davis is probably going to end up going in the eighth or ninth round, somewhere in that area. He may have gone a little bit higher before the Titans added Eric Decker. I’d draft [Davis] as wide receiver four. He has the most upside of any wide receiver in Tennessee.”

Do you see Tennessee finally have the pieces offensively? “That team is set up for Marcus Mariota to explode. Mariota is a quarterback that I see as this year’s Matt Ryan. Last year he had a stretch where he was tremendous. This year he’s got better weapons. Delanie Walker. You mentioned Corey Davis. Decker. Rishard Mathews is in the mix, too. He’s also got a pretty darn good running game with DeMarco Murray behind him so Mariota is a player I feel could break into the Top 5 among quarterbacks. It’s going to be hard to break into the Top 3 or 4 because, of course, you’ve got Aaron Rodgers and Andrew Luck and Drew Brees and Tom Brady. But Mariota could be right behind those guys.”

Speaking of Mariota, if you’re playing fantasy football for the first time, how much emphasis do you need to put into dual-threat quarterbacks? “The ability to run with the football for a quarterback can never be overstated in terms of how valuable it is. Dak Prescott last year, extremely accurate. Didn’t throw for a ton of yards but he had six rushing touchdowns. That just adds to his value and you know I always like to use the examples of Tim Tebow and Terrelle Pryor. Guys who may have not been the best passers but could still help your fantasy team because what they could do with their feet.”

What do you make out of San Francisco’s crowded backfield? “I still think Carlos Hyde is the most talented player. A lot of people are talking about rookie Joe Williams being hand-picked by Kyle Shanahan in the draft. We’ll see. I still think Hyde is an RB2.”

What other running back battles are you keeping close tabs on in the coming weeks? “Kansas City is very interesting to me. People are assuming Spencer Ware will be the projected starter and be the guy but Kareem Hunt is a good player and a good fit for Andy Reid’s offense and could potentially eat in to Ware’s touches. I wouldn’t be surprised if he ends up starting games as a rookie.”
