Elite 11 QB Oscar Rios Talks Arizona WIldcats Ahead of Commitment Day

The small details matter for Elite 11 quarterback Oscar Rios. The Downey (CA) quarterback pays attention to the little things on the field, and he has taken notice when colleges recruiting him take the same approach.

The Arizona Wildcats – who are battling it out with UCLA for Rios’ commitment –  have done exactly that since their recruitment of the talented QB started.

On his visit to Tucson, the Wildcats made sure to embrace his family’s heritage.

“They put our culture out there,” Rios said. (It was) little things: They had the Mexican flag on my backplate, the back of my helmet. They gave me a (Mexican) flag. It just felt like family.”

He caught up with Sports360AZ to talk about his Elite 11 experience, what drives him and his decision between Arizona and UCLA happening on June 27.
