Class of 2024 Salpointe Catholic defensive end Elijah Rushing experienced a year of growth during his first varsity season.
On the field, he tallied 13 tackles, two tackles for loss and a fumble recovery in four games.
The 6-foot-5, 215-pound defensive was able to play up to the varsity speed around him, and is excited to take the field with a year of experience under his belt.
Colleges are taking note of his size, speed and potential with Arizona State and Arizona offering so far.
The scary part? He’s only going to get bigger and he’s been working on his speed during track season.
