To say Drew Maggi is well-traveled would be an understatement. After a standout career at Brophy College Prep and playing under Pat Murphy at Arizona State University, Maggi started his journey in Minor League Baseball in 2010.
13 years – and 1,155 games – later, and will have a shot to get his first Major League at-bat after being called up by the Pittsburgh Pirates.

The Pirates infielder caught up with Brad Cesmat to talk about his journey, what kept him going and how Arizona prepared him for a life in baseball.
