Carston Kieffer has a big summer road trip planned to check out a few programs across the country. On the itinerary are Texas Tech, Tulane, and Notre Dame. However, Carston may be adding Wisconsin along with some other schools to his travel plans this summer if more programs continue to show interest.
Carston grew up playing soccer and was on the varsity soccer team at Corona Del Sol as a freshman. Despite loving soccer, Carston was always interested in playing football. When he joined the Aztec’s football program he started as a linebacker but when the need for a kicker presented itself, he was the guy for the job.
From that point on, Kieffer’s goal was to play football at the next level.

Carston is excited about the season ahead and has enjoyed the new coaching staff at Corona Del Sol.
“All of the new coaching staff are awesome,” Kieffer said. “I think this program is going to be a top program in the state.”
Carston’s goals for the upcoming season are to stay above 80 percent in field goals, 90 percent in touchbacks, and hopes to lead the country in kickoffs.
