Arizona State lost at Mississippi State Saturday night, 24-20.

The Sun Devils trailed 17-3 at halftime, but would rally in the fourth quarter to take a 20-17 lead with under two minutes to play. The Bulldogs would score on a 58-yard TD pass from Blake Shapen to Brenen Thompson and then sealed the victory with an interception of Sam Leavitt.

Arizona State falls to 1-1 and will return home to Sun Devil Stadium next Saturday to face Texas State.
