Chaparral quarterback Brayten Silbor is officially taking his talents to Pennsylvania where he will be a Lehigh Mountain Hawk.
The previous University of New Mexico commit described Lehigh as the perfect combination for his athletic and academic career. Lehigh was an early player in Brayten’s recruitment process and showed interest in him ahead of the 2021 season. Silbor had a virtual visit with Lehigh University on Jan 3. that turned into an offer that same day.

“I feel like I fit in best with this offense because they like to throw the ball around,” Silbor said. “I come from an offense that does that.”
Silbor said that his time at Chaparral prepared him for this next phase of his life and reminisced on winning the State Championship his junior season and upsetting Saguaro in 2021.
