Cardinals Trade Josh Rosen to Miami Dolphins

Arizona Sports News online

After the Arizona Cardinals lept over the Miami Dolphins to select Josh Rosen with the 10th overall pick a year ago, the young quarterback is headed to Miami.

Adam Schefter broke the news that the Cardinals were sending Rosen to Miami and a 2020 fifth round pick for the 62nd overall pick. The Cardinals selected UMass wide receiver Andy Isabella with that pick.

Rosen was the odd man out in Arizona after the Cardinals selected Oklahoma quarterback Kyler Murray with the first overall pick in the 2019 draft.

In his lone season with the Cardinals, Rosen completed 55.2% of his passes for 2,278 yards, 11 touchdowns and 14 interceptions. The rookie out of UCLA took over for starter Sam Bradford three games into the season. He withstood a rookie year where there were multiple injuries along the offensive line and receiving corps and saw an offensive coordinator change midseason from Mike McCoy to Byron Leftwich.
