Last week, ASU and Herm Edwards earned its first public commitment in quarterback Ethan Long.

They added another signal-caller six days later in Mission Viejo quarterback Joey Yellen.

Last year, Yellen threw for 2,439 yards, 29 touchdowns and 10 interceptions while leader the Diablos to a 12-1 record. Their only loss was to Mater Dei, the eventual CIF Southern Section champions.

Yellen is a four-star quarterback and is ranked the #13 pro-style quarterback according to 247Sports.

Mission Viejo has been a pipeline for both Arizona State and Arizona. Arizona linebacker and Pac-12 defensive freshman of the year Collin Schooler is  a former Diablo, as is class of 2018 ASU linebacker Christian Lavalle.

Yellen told SunDevilSource.com he intends to enroll early.
