Calais Keys: Week 4 vs Miami Dolphins

Throughout the NFL season Arizona Cardinals defensive end Calais Campbell joins Brad Cesmat every Tuesday at 12:15 on ‘Big Guy on Sports’ on XTRA Sports 910 and Pros2Preps.com.

Each week he shares with us his ‘Calais Keys’ for the Red Birds upcoming opponent.

Following the Cards convincing 27-6 win over the Philadelphia Eagles to improve to 3-0, the Miami Dolphins are next up Sunday at University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale.

Win the battle in the trenches defensively

“The Dolphins have a pretty good [offensive] line. Surprisingly, you wouldn’t think their o-line is great from their record over the last couple years but their offensive line is one of the better offensive lines you’ll play against. Jake Long is one of the better tackles in the game. I’m used to playing against Richie Incognito because he was with the Rams for so long. They’re physical. They’re maulers. They’ll get after you.”

Make the Dolphins one-dimensional

“Definitely stopping the run, containing the run. You saw Reggie Bush run for almost 200 yards a couple games ago [172 against Oakland in Week 2]  and Daniel Thomas is running pretty well, too. If [Bush] is healthy, we have to shut him down.”

Get in the rookie quarterback’s face

“We have to bat down some balls. Ryan Tannehill has a low release so we have to get our hands up and bat down some balls. We also have to create some turnovers. That’s one thing I don’t think we do well enough.”
