As we are on the verge of the spring semester starting for most colleges around the nation, we should start to see some of the top names in the transfer portal make their decisions on their new home.

One local name to keep an eye on is Cade Bennett. The former Notre Dame Prep interior lineman and Oklahoma State Cowboy just entered his name into the portal Thursday morning and he’s already heard from close to 20 schools.

The group includes Arizona, Arizona State, Colorado, Penn State, UCF and San Diego State. Bennett has a visit to Colorado slated for January 14.

The 6-foot-4, 310-pound lineman appeared in two games as a redshirt freshman and will have four years of eligibility remaining.

The lineman is not the only Oklahoma State player from Arizona in the portal. Wide receiver Matt Polk, who also was a 2020 commit for the Pokes, entered the portal on October 1.
