Brophy’s Ben Morrison has a laundry list of elite offers from programs that play on college football’s biggest stages.
On Thursday, he committed to one that is showcased nationwide perhaps more than any other program in Notre Dame.

“This was a tough decision for Ben between Notre Dame and Washington,” Brophy head coach Jason Jewell said. “I think the education at Notre Dame and the future opportunities a degree from Notre Dame present are what tipped the scales and led to him committing to them.”
He is one of many Broncos getting looked at by top programs in his class. Defensive end Zac Swanson committed to Texas this spring. Tight end Tyler Powell has plenty of Pac-12 & Big 12 offers. Quarterback EJ Warner has been on the camp circuit after missing virtually all of 2020 with an injury and holds offers from the likes of Colorado State.
Over two seasons, Morrison has 78 tackles, two interceptions, eight passes deflected and two blocked field goals.
“Ben obviously is an extremely talented player,” Jewell said. “That’s why he was so heavily recruited, and he has a chance to play early. His skill set is tremendous. He has length, speed, ball skills but what I think sets him apart is his willingness to get involved in the run game. He tackles very well and has no fear.”
He joins former Pinnacle offensive tackle Tosh Baker as Arizona players who have pledged to the Golden Domers.
