Bradley Beal shows why the Suns should be NBA champs

It’s only November 10.

It’s only game one of the NBA In-Season tournament.

It’s only Bradley Beal’s first home game rocking the purple and orange.

Let’s not overreact…

BUT, anyone who was overthinking the Bradley Beal trade this off season should change course. His fit in the valley works.

The Suns (4-4 record) should win the 2024 NBA championship. It’s that simple.

A 122-119 loss to the Lakers in November doesn’t actually say anything. But the eye test right now shows more than the results do. And Devin Booker is yet to hit the court with Beal and Kevin Durant together as a unified Big 3.

Beal dropped 20 points in the first half. He finishes with 24 points on 9-17 shooting. He’s still getting his legs back following a back injury in training camp.

The roster is built to complement the core three. Frank Vogel seems to have a grip on the pulse of his players.

Don’t worry about the record until March.

Don’t be overjoyed by “deep” bench play because the playoffs are a different beast.

Don’t stress about how clutch time is managed yet.

The only thing that should truly be monitored between now and April is the health of Booker, Beal and Durant. 45-50 regular games together is the ideal number this team may need to win in the postseason.
