Believe in D-Backs, Arizona thriller vs USC, Thumbs up, Thumbs down, more…

Now do you believe in the Diamomdbacks?

Tossing Milwaukee to the curb wasn’t enough for the Hometown Nine, Saturday night the Diamondbacks chased the big, bad Dodgers ace to the showers before the first inning was complete. Clayton Kershaw joked on Friday about how his college football viewing was being interrupted by his profession. Well, I’m guessing that Kershaw had more than enough time to catch the fourth quarter of the Arizona State-Colorado dramatic finish…

I’d rather be the 1-3 Cardinals than the 1-3 Bengals. Cardinals win today…

Give me more of Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift. Give me less of “hot takes” like the Jets and Giants stink…

Thumbs up-Bob Costas behind the mic for Diamondbacks v Dodgers. Bob will be with me on Monday’s show
-Brock Osweiler did a nice job in the ESPN booth for USC v Arizona. I appreciate analysts who don’t let their college roots get in the way of the journalistic integrity of the job at hand. He was fair and critical throughout the broadcast. Refreshing, actually…

Thumbs down-The flow of the college football games I watched on Saturday wasn’t great. Yes, there were some poor calls. That happens EVERY week. The amount of stoppages by the officials was the problem. Announcers complaining about calls is tiresome too…

Made it through the Arizona triple OT loss to USC late Saturday night. In games like that, there were several twists and turns that could’ve led to a statement victory for Jedd Fisch’s squad.
Arizona backup quarterback Noah Fifita played with great poise and compusre. dropping five touchdown passes in just his second start. Yes, USC’s defense is a sieve. Arizona led 17-0. The Wildcat defense had five second half penalties otherwise they would’ve won the game in regulation IMO…

Trophy in Chandler is the new hot spot to watch sports. Great food. Great spot!

A 1-5 record would say Arizona State isn’t making progress under first-year head coach Kenny Dillingham. I would disagree. They can’t run the ball with any consistency, they have injuries(everyone has injuries) they had nine penalties(please don’t go to “the refs were lousy” weak to blame officials at every turn). The Sun Devils are a team that shoots themselves in the foot, more than the opposition beating them. Will they win another game? I’d be surprised if they were favored in any of their final six, but I am seeing progress…

Centennial at Liberty or Hamilton at Chandler? Tough call on which game to hit on November 3rd…
