Another in-state star has committed to UA Football.

Basha senior quarterback Demond Williams Jr. made the announcement on social media Monday morning:

This comes after Salpointe Catholic’s 5-star EDGE in Elijah Rushing committed to the Wildcats as well, adding a huge splash to head coach Jedd Fisch’s recruiting class.

Williams Jr. originally verbally committed to Ole Miss on December 30th before decommitting earlier this month.

Williams Jr. has career numbers of over 6,780 passing yards and 59 touchdowns while averaging about 205 yards per contest, according to MaxPreps.

Not to mention, the Bears are defending Open Division champions thanks, in large part, to Williams Jr.’s excellent performances on a nightly basis.

Basha hosts Highland to kick off its season on September 1 at 7 pm.
