ASU’s Natasha Adair On Year 2 For Sun Devils Women’s Hoops

Natasha Adair has said time and again that her first year of Tempe was to lay a foundation.

Her first offseason was a quick one, implementing the culture she wanted while retaining the current roster and bringing in new talent.

It was building a plane while flying it. During the season, the injury bug hit the Sun Devils hard, and it was a tough season from a win/loss perspective.

But Adair was proud of how the team fought, including taking UCLA to the very end at the Pac-12 tournament.

With a full offseason, the head coach feels like the Sun Devils are in a place to take a step (or two) forward.

But it won’t be without its challenges. Tyi Skinner, who was second in the conference in scoring last year, is out for the year.

Adair sat down with Sports360AZ about how Skinner continues to be a leader, Jaddan Simmons’ growth on the court and the overall outlook for the new-look Devils.
