Bagley, whose older brother Marvin Bagley III starred at Marcos de Niza High School and is now entering his second year with the Sacramento Kings, is ranked as the seventh-highest prospect in program history. He’s the 50th-rated prospect according to 247Sports.
Josh Gershon, National Recruiting Analyst for 247Sports.com, had this to say about the newest Sun Devil.
Versatile scoring wing with size to play multiple perimeter positions. Best asset is pure scoring ability. Can efficiently score from all three levels. Most comfortable with ball in his hands and can score pulling up or attacking basket. Strong handle for position. Has physical tools to be a plus rebounder. No physical limitations defensively although consistency and effort could improve there. Has shown significant strides throughout high school career. Should be good scorer in college with NBA upside if efficiency continues to improve.
The versatile 6-foot-7, 200-pounder played at Sacramento Sheldon and selected the Devils over Arizona and Cal.
