ASU crushes Navy 62-28

Quarterback Taylor Kelly threw for four touchdown passes, three to Rashad Ross, as Arizona State steamrolled Navy 62-28
at the Kraft FightHunger Bowl here in San Francisco.

The game was played at AT&T Park, the same home field as the World Series Champion Giants.
Running back Marion Grice would rush for 159 yards and 2 tds. for the Sun Devils, who finished the season winning their final three games for the first time since 1978.

The 62 points scored was a record for most points by one team in this bowl game, beating the previous mark of 44 points by Florida State in 2006.

The game was a mismatch from the opening drive, when Kelly found Ross with 12:43 to go, making it 7-0 ASU and the route was on. Grice would go in from 10-yards out to make it 14-0 at the 8:22 mark in the 1st but the Devils would not let up.
Kelly, would take it in from a yard out with 0:08 seconds to go in the opening period to increase the margin to 21-0. For the game he would complete 17-19 for 268 yards.

For the game, ASU had seven touchdown drives of 60 yards or more, they also had 36 first downs which tied a NCAA Division One Bowl Record with two other teams(1991 Oklahoma in the Gator Bowl and Marshall in the 2001 GMAC Bowl)
