ASU beats Stanford

Arizona State lives to see another day here in Las Vegas. Their 89-88 OT win over Stanford was big on many fronts. Jahii Carson was sensational, scoring 34 points to lead the ASU attack.

I was sitting next to a couple of NBA scouts during the overtime and they couldn’t rave enough about the job that Carrick Felix was doing on the defensive end of the floor.

There is a very strong feeling that ASU matches up better with UCLA in Thursday’s game than they did with Stanford. I don’t get a feeling up here that they are intimidated one bit by the Bruins.
