The Arizona women’s basketball added a tremendous playmaker to their roster in Jade Loville on Tuesday night. She is the Pac-12’s second leading scorer from last year. She is also Arizona State’s best player.

Adding a talent like Loville to the roster is a no-brainer. The fact she’s making the trip to Tucson from Tempe adds a new layer to an already heated rivalry.
The Skyline High School alum spent multiple years at Boise State. In 2020-21, she averaged 17.1 points and 3.1 points per game with the Broncos. She spent one year with the Sun Devils, leading ASU with 16.6 points per game. No other Sun Devil averaged more than 10 points per game.
Loville is the third college transfer added to Adia Barnes’ roster in what’s been a busy offseason for the Wildcats, bringing a wealth of experience to the roster. Loville joins Oklahoma State guard Lauren Fields and West Virginia Esmery Martinez. Fields started 22 games for OSU and Martinez averaged 11.3 points and 8.8 rebounds per game for the Mountaineers.
The Wildcats already have signed four ESPN top-100 players in this class including McDonalds All-Americans Maya Nnaji and Paris Clark. The roster has been a revamp since last year, with this influx of talent and seven former players entering the transfer portal.
